Office desks and workstation solutions!
Hot desk is a term used in the office furniture industry when a member of staff who doesn't have their own office desk, can use a designated hot desk or group of hot desks to carry out their work. The person can be a field sales person to a director who is not office based. The desk is setup to allow anyone to simply sit down and work. A normal configuration for a hot desk has a power point and network access point for a laptop or hosts a networked desktop computer, a telephone and desk lamp. Several companies have rows of hot desks so that their staff can work in different areas when it suits them. The user can also make use of personal mobile storage which can be located at their hot desk whilst in use, and stored away in special mobile storage zones at the end of their shift.
Storage desks use essential office storage units as the primary construction and support for the desktop, instead of using office legs (see Beam range). This allows more necessary filling or other stored items to be kept as close to the user as possible. In very tight spaces, this helps use of the office space much more efficiently. Storage desks are more expensive than the standard desk, but this is cancelled out by not having to purchase additional storage. Please contact sales for further information.

Browse the desk ranges to see the different computer workstation structures and choose the right configuration for your ergonomic office needs.
Pole legs use tubular steel legs to hold up the desktop. Modesty panels can be attached to the legs if you require.

Panel end legs use slab end panels to provide support and also privacy. Panel end desks come complete with modesty panel as part of the structure.

Cantilever legs or "C" legs due to their shape, are made from strong steel. Cantilever desks have either modesty panels or beams as their structure. Many C leg desks include wire management inside the actual leg (see Jetstream & Visual)

Beam desks use several different leg styles, but all use a beam as the main structure. Many beams are hollow to allow for cables to run down the length of the desk. Beam desks can usually share components when adding desk extensions or when creating runs / clusters of desks.
