These Terms and Conditions of Trade form part of any contract or order between any customer and The Urban Decor Shop (Trading as Urban Office Interiors / Southwest Office Furniture) for the supply of goods and services. The Customer shall be deemed to be aware of these Terms and Conditions and subject to them whether or not the Customer has read and understood them.
Price: 1. If any prices are shown on the web sites www.swof.co.uk , www.urban-office.com and our shopping website www.theurbandecorshop.com they exclude VAT and it will be added at the current rate of 17.5% Our Vat number is: 869 3205 01
Payment terms: 1. The Customer will pay for the goods when the order contract is signed unless already an Urban Office Interiors account holder. After the first order the Customer may decide to open an account with Urban Office Interiors (subject to credit reference) and have the option to pay for any goods within 30 days of delivery. Maximum credit given to any one account will be £2500 unless an agreement is made between the Customer and Urban Office Interiors. Orders over this maximum amount will incur a 50% deposit to be paid at the time the goods are ordered. 2. In the event of late payment by the Customer, Urban Office Interiors reserves the right to charge 3% per day from the due payment date of the total order amount.
Delivery: 1. Goods are the responsibility of Urban Office Interiors whilst in transit to the Customer. Liability of the goods are passed on to the Customer after a delivery signature by the Customer or a representative of the Customer has been received by the delivery team. 2. Any damages or manufacturers faults should be noted and Urban Office Interiors shall be informed by writing within 3 days of delivery. 3. Urban Office Interiors will not accept any returns unless prior agreement in writing at time of order. Any accepted returns to Urban Office Interiors by the Customer will be charged at 30% RRP even with prior agreement. 4. All delivery dates are an estimate and Urban Office Interiors shall not be liable to any losses by the Customer. 5. The Customer will have a safe and easy access at their premises for the delivery team to deliver the goods. 6. Delivery is to tailgate only (you must have staff available to collect these items from the back of the delivery vehicle), or ground floor if agreed with supplier. Any extra work carried out such as delivery to a different floor will be charged as installation unless an agreement is made with the Customer and Urban Office Interiors.
Installation. 1. The installation will be carried out by ourselves or by a contractor team employed by Urban Office Interiors. 2. Installation is charged at time of order unless stated free installation by promotional offer or from our main brochure. 3. The Customer must have the installation area clear and ready for the installation team. This is to provide the installation team with a safe working environment and to allow a speedy installation to benefit the Customer. 4. All IT equipment (computers, monitors, etc.) and any other items which may hinder the efficient working of the installation team should be removed from the installation area by the Client. The installation team are not authorised to move or handle any suchlike materials so please do not ask them to.
Guarantee. 1. Most office furniture supplied by Urban Office Interiors is supplied with a 5 year manufacturers guarantee unless stated. The Urban Office Interiors website www.urban-office.com includes information on guarantees on each product. However, not all items are shown on the website and the customer will be informed of the guarantees at time of order. 2. The guarantee does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or by accident and applies when the product is used during normal office hours unless otherwise stated. Product failure due to fair wear and tear is excluded and the guarantee is applicable to the UK mainland only.
The Product. 1. Urban Office Interiors and Manufacturers reserve the right to alter a product in the benefit of product development at any time with out prior notice. 2. Colours displayed on the websites www.swof.co.uk, www.urban-office.com and www.theurbandecorshop.com or in manufacturers brochures may differ from actual product due to reproduced images. If in doubt, or you need to match a colour - contact sales for samples and swatches.
